Day Book

The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book.
I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them.

Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016

Picture for the week........

The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday--
( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  )

Outside my window.....

Things are green, and showers today have made my garden very happy

I am thinking.....

About starting in with some school for the kids next week.
About dipping our feet in with some potty training.
About the how very deep the spiritual side of adoption is, and how constant.

I am thankful for.....

My husband, my steady steady rock

I am reading.....

Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Out of the Kitchen.....

Keeping it simple, nothing great right now....and my 14 year old is my resident chef for most meals, which is very nice.

To be Fit and Healthy & Happy

Right now....  sleep--  getting enough sleep is one of my main goals
Next, I need to continue to really limit stress of ANY kind.... as my adrenals needing recovering

Listening to....

Pandora  -  Laura Story and Kari Jobe

Towards a Real Education.....

Starting off next week on some "summer school" but with the thought-- if we need to break and do some summer fun-- that is okay too.    We will be adding in  Bible, Math, Science and 1 hour of Reading (their choice).   More details on this later

Around the Hobby Farm.....

Well one thing that is pretty new is, I have a "resident Farmer in Training".   :)   My 15 year old son--  it seems his future will be in some field of agriculture.   So he really does a LOT of the work out on the homestead.   I will do a re-cap on what we have and why  in a upcoming post.  WITH PICTURES!

I am Praying......

I am praying for Spiritual Growth for me and my entire family.
That we would be grounded in the Word and listening for the Holy Spirit's leading.
