Cloth Diaper Journey

Since this is my "new" blog--- I will attach a copy of my Part 1 Cloth Diapers--this is how I do it-- I am not a pro-- and have only cd this current baby-- but do hope to continue with future babies-- the are so cute, so soft, and so AFFORDABLE!!

I ordered my first batch of 18 last summer--I ordered 18 Frugal Fannies-- and I LOVE em' more today than I did then!!

Well with baby #4 on HER way-- I thought I better order a few more-- only my "friend" at FF-- has been VERY busy with life-- and so on-- so I thought well maybe I'd try a different route--which led me to spend hours of time looking, reseraching different diaper options. I know hubby and I know he likes the 1 size fits all-- not having to buy all the different sizes, so that narrowed it down for me-- so I ordered 2 Bum Genus ALL in One's.... (butternut) and 2 of the Mother Ease Ones Size. Well-- I have heard so many great things abotu Bum Genus--but I can tell you it is not for us-- I cannot wait to sell these 2 off ASAP--- I can buy a FEW FF for that price!! The Mother Ease are nice-- but really when I compare the ME to the FF-- the FF win hands down-- cheaper, easier (stuffing diapers is NOT FOR ME--) and SOOOOO very cute-- so I'll wait patiently now for my "FF Friend" to make me some more FF!!

Oh my these letters have been SOOOOO  encouraging to me like NOTHING else. She inspired me to spend my morning with the Lord, waiting on Him, listening to Him. Immigrant 1880-1914 food budget

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. As you enter, you'll choose a card with a photo of one of eight immigrant characters, who are fictional composites based on historical facts. You then experience the daily life of that character as you tour the museum. Day Book

The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them. Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016 Picture for the week........                                                The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday-- ( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  ) Outside my window.....
