Need a good laugh?
Play a game of Charades with my boys!!! LOL
In our new schedule-- I have 1 on 1 time with each of the children each day and another goal at the end of each day is to play 1 game with the older 2. So today Joshua got to choose and he is VERY MUCH my actor-- and dreamer..... so he chose our Kids Bible Charades....
Oh my I laughed SOOOO hard and so did they when I had to get on my hands and knees to act out a few animals-- they laughed HARD!!!
But my dreamer did not make it easy on me-- it was so funny-- everything you act out is 1 word-- but for Ark-- he had a WHOLE story he was acting out and none of it had the "ark" in it.... There were quite a few others-- that had a WHOLE story line to them.... and he would sit down and say "that was a tough one wasn't it mom?" and all I could do was LAUGH and say-- yes-- it was pretty tough....
It was interesting to see my oldest because at first he didn't want to get out of his chair-- he wanted to do things with his hands draw in the air kind of and things-- but finally he got up and out-- But he REALLY had to THINK a lot-- this did not come natural to him-- very intersting.
But to be totally honest here-- at the end-- I told the boys what FUN I had-- and how I laughed so hard-- and I love to laugh-- and Zachary said, "really, mom-- I didn't know you "loved" to laugh". How sad is that-- I need to laugh more....
This post really touched me and is kind of related to our evening.... When you can't figure out what the answer should be...
**this was such a poor description of our evening-- but in a word- FUN!
