Surfs Up New Years 2010

What a tangled web we weave.....Not really-- but I do sometimes find it interesting how I get somewhere on line-- I read a blog that has a link or two in it-- and off I am somewhere and I often stop and think, HOW DID I GET HERE???

I had/have a yahoo group that i somtimes send out links of interest (my interest) but I think I may just post a weekly post here with some interesting links...... and if nothing else is will be a record and reminder for myself.

Being New Years-- I did find a few good reads--

De-Cluttering your Soul—the Secret to Peace and Rest 2010- Ever since reading "Seasons of a Mothers Heart"-- I just love reading her writings-- she is so encouraging.... She had another great NEW YEAR post 2010-The Home is a Fountain of Civilization--redefining goals for 2010
I am so thankful for my highspeed internet now-- because I like this blog-- but never visited very often because it NEVER downloaded correctly and was really hard to read-- but wow-- it is a BEAUTIFUL blog-- and here is her recap of 2009 (which inspired my previous post-- although her pictures put mine to SHAME)-; A Year in Pictures (I love her music too-- the other day I was called away from the computer but didn't shut it off-- and her music played in my home for a few hours-- and it was so beautiful and calming--I didn't realize it until Jason asked what that was... so beautiful)

Doug Phillips had a great re-cap of 2009 post as well: How to End the Year 2009

Non New Year related interests:

Eating our DAILY Bread this week we have really implemented this habbit-- every family meal (for our family we eat breakfast and dinner together every day) we eat our "food" and then we eat the LIVING WORD.... and it this post encouraged me to just take a bite or two-- not to rush-- so every meal we read 5-10 verses of something-- this week Jason has used Proverbs 30 and 31.
My other FAVORITE part of having High Speed Internet is the ability to listen to sermons while washing dishes and/or cooking. Of course my first pick as been a few Voddie Bachman sermons-- oh they are SOOOOO good...... LOVE THIS site... Sermon Audio.com / Voddie Bachman
Another favorite visit on the web was to find this site that makes the jumpers I just love-- and are so easy to nurse in.... Purely Modest
One last blog I just came to-- after reading about a Pantry Challenge (which I am not up to this month--) but I did flag this blog to read more later.....
