A Seminar about Blogging?? Really


A friend just sent this to my on FB-- WOW!!



I really doubt I go-- a conference about blogging? hmmmm not sure hubby would buy that!! ;)

Although I would just LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear Sally Clarkson speak..her conferences are always so far away from me.. and I do enjoy Ann Voskamp as well..... just thought I'd share the link-- and if any of you go-- let me know-- I am local to this.....

In other news-- Jason and I spent ALL morning shovleing GRAVEL/ STONES.... ughhh what a JOB!! The sad part? Jason offered to bring home a few friends from work on Friday to get it done-- and I WAY overstepped MY boundries and -- said "oh no-- we can do this ourselves"!! :0 BAD IDEA-- I ate my words-- with EACH HEAVY HEAVY shovel of that 10 TONS of rock!

I am just now realizing that this e-course is going to be tougher than I had first planned-- I mean it could be easy-- but if I really want to get the WHY-- not just the HOW's of this -- I am going to need to apply myself a bit more. I am a writer... I cannot learn from just reading-- I need to write to get it IN MY BRAIN... so I think that will help-- instead of reading all this material-- I am going to take notes (on the notes)-- because it is a lot...and I want to have the knowledge so when dh or someone asks "why are we doing this?" I have a good answer-- not just "becasue it is healthy".. I want to know about the enzymes and chemicals and things like that---

Oh my these letters have been SOOOOO  encouraging to me like NOTHING else. She inspired me to spend my morning with the Lord, waiting on Him, listening to Him. She inspired me to love my husband and put him right after the Lord She inspired me to raise and love and train my children in many areas And lastly she even touched on keeping my home, to bring honor to the Lord. Immigrant 1880-1914 food budget

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. You then experience the daily life of that character as you tour the museum. Day Book

The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them. Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016 Picture for the week........                                                The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday-- ( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  ) Outside my window.....
