Maxwells and GNOWFLINS
Well-- don't you know I have been on FB again-- and my blog has suffered.... I really dislike how that happens.
A brief update-- includes that I was FINALLY able to attend a Maxwell Conference!! I have ALWAYS wanted to go to one-- and I found out on Wednesday they were going to be less than 40 minutes away on SUNDAY. Thankfully we had no plans on Sunday-- except it was our Anniversary-- so that is what I asked hubby for-- and he as always-- does whatever he can to make me happy. And I was!! :) Hubby and Rebekah even made it into a picture on their blog!! (so did the back of my head in the womens session-- Jason and Rebekah are in the back row of the mens session.) All found HERE. It was a GREAT-- TIME-- VERY challenging for me-- both keeping the littles happy thru a few HOURS of sessions -- and challenging for me based on the materials covered-- nothing BRAND new-- but a few spots stepped on my toes pretty hard. But it's all good- and all very much needed. The good part is all of there sessions are covered in their books.
As you can see on my side bar-- the NEW OPEN ENROLLMENT for GNOWFLINS is coming SOON!! I guess that means my turn is soon over... :( I have learned SOOO much. My one friend e-mailed me and asked me if it was worth the $$...and I have to say-- when she told me how much I paid (total) it did sound like a "lot". However it comes out monthly-- and really that monthly amount comes out of my grocery budget- so in that sense-- it really is NOT a lot. I am a bit behind on a few things-- I want to try the soft cheeses and the sour dough bread-- but I need to get a few things to get that going--- but the GREAT part about this course is that I can save ALL the handouts for any time-- and I do have a binder I have been making with all of them included-- I try to watch all the videos-- just so I can SEE it all being done. As I mentioned previously-- could I find blogs that have this information on it? (even with pictures maybe?) yes-- but the time it would take to find some good directions-- and keep it book marked.... just may be too much....and I do have BUSY moms at my church that could show me-- but that would take a LOT of time away from our families-- this way I can take the course on MY TIME-- when I have free time. The other GREAT part of this course, which I have not taken FULL advantage of -- it he message board-- where you can ask TONS of questions-- relating to the course-- and find out if anyone else has had some problems-- or suggestions-- it is a WEALTH of KNOWLEDGE!! So -- if you are a newby (like I am) and you would like someone to HOLD YOUR HAND-- this is a GREAT course. And I've never done anything like this before-- but I am an afflilate with GNOWFLINS-- which just means-- if you read this here-- and you would like to sign up-- PLEASE sign up by clicking on the box on my sidebar.....
