Completeing Him Challenge- week 1

So for week 1 of this challenge I am to share a picture of our dating-- and a bit of "our story".

I am also to be think about the verse Proverbs 5:18&19-

Am I still being "captivating"? (touching, loving, listening, feeding the relationship)
How much time do I spend on a daily/weekly basis cultivating our relationship?

Purpose to do something this week that reminds MY husband of the youthful wife I once was. TREASURE HIM THIS WEEK.

So here goes:

Here is the only picture I can use right now because my scanner is broken-- but this is my senior year in high school-- the prom.

We first "wanted" to begin dating when I was ALMOST 16 years old-- but I had to wait till I was 16.... soo we did.

We had a VERY rocky dating relationship until my last year in college.... when I guess we should've began to "date".
The more I learn and see about dating-- the more I can see why it is NOT a good idea at ALL -- especially at a young age-- when you are NOT ready for marriage-- but that is a WHOLE other post-- And the Lord is GOOD and redeemed our relationship in a way that NO ONE could've EVER SEEN coming!!
The Lord brought both of us to a place where we laid our lives down-- in the first year of our marriage at a couples retreat. That was the REAL turning point in our relationship--where we really lived for the Lord-- and in return-- poured out our lives for each other... and I must say-- I am so pleased with our marriage-- it is just what I always wanted in a husband.
I must admit-- he is MUCH more of the "giver" in our relationship-- but I do try to pour into him-- and show him my LOVE and affection as much as possible.
Am I captivating still? I think my actions ARE. I think my words and my physcial appearance has lot of ROOM for improvement.....
I have JUST the thing to show him I TREASURE him-- can't share it here-- he reads this!! :)
If you are participating in this challenge-- leave me a message too-- so I can go read!!
