Whey and Keifr HELP

So my keif is seaparating berfore 48 hours--- but I cannot catch it THICK yet either, so I'll keep trying... in the meantime do I need to separate this whey any more or can I use it like this??? (for my fermented veges).
Any ideas would be GREAT.
