Welcome back to my blog!! :) It's been awhile-- if you don't really know me you will find this blog VERY boring-- it just my random thoughts and updates-- which would really only be enjoyed by friends and family..... Nevertheless, WELCOME....
If this were a quick FB post-- it would read
"Denise wishes she wouldn't have been out ALL day running errands with ALL the kids-- she is exhasuted!"
But well-- Denise has said Goodbye to Facebook!! (okay no more talking in the 3rd person)....


Yes today we left our house around 10am to go fill out somepaper work with a new Dr. for the family in our new town...and we elected Stephen as the gunniea pig-- we are only transferring him until I can meet and get to KNOW this Dr. and practice. They wouldn't let me just come in for a quick "well" appt-- and meet him-- they HAD to have paperwork and records transfered... blah blah blah-- so we are jumping thru the hoops. Then off to a few stops including a local bent-n-dent store, a friends Health Store (for some natural cures for his teething and possible ear ache) and then off to the REGULAR grocery store and finally Tractor Supply to pick something up for hubby.

I am hoping this blog can be revived with my many thoughts and ideas.

Oh dear I just realized I never posted our most EXCITING news on here---

Yes-- there will soon be 6 children!!! There was no cycle since well-- FOREVER-- so we aren't EXACTLY sure when this bundle will join us-- but due to some negative tests-- I do beleive sometime in May.

In other news-- we are moving in the next 3-4 weeks, Lord willing. We are VERY VERY VERY excited about that. We are moving closer to our church family. We are moving into another ol' Farm House on about 6 acres.. well actually it sits on 110 acres we are only renting 6 of them.

The only other news around here-- is our 50 stinky broilers-- ughh I hate raising meat chickens-- they are so gross--- and stinky-- so much different than our laying hens-- who have pea brains-- these things have NO brains-- they eat, drink, poop, sleep, OH and SMOOTHER each other... grrrrrrr We are on week 2 of 8!!
Well how is that for a QUICK udpate-- to bring everyone up to speed!?!

3 Years, it has been 3 years since I have updated this blog. Hoping to continue to journal our happenings. First I wanted to leave a link for Laine's Letters. Oh my these letters have been SOOOOO  encouraging to me like NOTHING else. She inspired me to spend my morning with the Lord, waiting on Him, listening to Him. She inspired me to love my husband and put him right after the Lord She inspired me to raise and love and train my children in many areas And lastly she even touched on keeping my home, to bring honor to the Lord. Immigrant 1880-1914 food budget

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. As you enter, you'll choose a card with a photo of one of eight immigrant characters, who are fictional composites based on historical facts. You then experience the daily life of that character as you tour the museum. Day Book

The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them. Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016 Picture for the week........                                                The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday-- ( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  ) Outside my window..... Things are green, and showers today have made my garden very happy I am thinking..... About starting in with some school for the kids next week. About dipping our feet in with some potty training.
