Jason's wisdom tooth surgery went very well and his healing was SO good....and much easier than either of us imagined.

I am wearing
A pair of black sweatpants and a t-shirt. it was a long dirty day of cleaning and animal relocating.

In My CD player
The boys have it in their rooms-- listening to books on CD's- this week "Charlotte's Web"-

Toward a Real Education
The boys are really liking their "My Fathers World" Rod and Staff Social Stuides book. They have been quizzing their dad each evening on what they learned.

I am Thinking
What a difference a day makes- all our animals seem to be in safe and acceptable locations right now.

Around the Hobby Farm
So glad everyone is in their new locations and HAPPY and SAFE!!

I am Reading
Hmmm not in the middle of reading anything right now-- I have on request at our Library-- Dr. Sears Vaccination book-- looking foward to reading that.

I am Praying
For my brother and his daughter

3 Years, it has been 3 years since I have updated this blog. Hoping to continue to journal our happenings. First I wanted to leave a link for Laine's Letters. Oh my these letters have been SOOOOO  encouraging to me like NOTHING else. She inspired me to spend my morning with the Lord, waiting on Him, listening to Him. She inspired me to love my husband and put him right after the Lord She inspired me to raise and love and train my children in many areas And lastly she even touched on keeping my home, to bring honor to the Lord. Immigrant 1880-1914 food budget

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. As you enter, you'll choose a card with a photo of one of eight immigrant characters, who are fictional composites based on historical facts. You then experience the daily life of that character as you tour the museum. Day Book

The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them. Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016 Picture for the week........                                                The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday-- ( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  ) Outside my window..... Things are green, and showers today have made my garden very happy I am thinking..... About starting in with some school for the kids next week. About dipping our feet in with some potty training.
