Outside My Window
Perfect Fall Weather today, but rain is on it's way

Listening to
The older 2 boys watching House Crashers on DIY network and the coffee maker making Jason's coffee for work.

To be Fit and Happy
Cutting down to 1 cup of coffee...and NO SUGAR (WHAT?) or close too....
Need to be a bit more pro-active for this baby
We are all mostly GF too except our bread...all others (noodles, pancakes, etc) are all GF

I am Thankful For
The Lord's guidance-- and direction-- and bringing Jason and I on the same page-- in SOOO many issues...

From the Kitchen
Tomorrow- Beef Barley Soup for lunch, and Pizza for dinner

What I am Wearing
A jean jumper with turtleneck and brown sweater. Also my cuddleduds (under my jumper-- I cannnot BELEIVE how much warmer they keep me-- that is how I can wear dresses all the time even outside milking, etc... they are COMFY COMFY COMFY!! (found at BonTon--).

Toward a Real Education
School is undeway-- I got some library read alouds to help us get back into Weaver. Studing Colonial America and the Birth of a Nation.

I am Thinking
About tomorrows meeting with a midwife-- and the FIRST time I've ever left my kids with anyone but family-- but now that we live here-- our church is part of our family-- so I am not at all nervous-- the kids are excited to have someone come and play!!

Around the Hobby Farm
Saturday is butchering day!! YEAAAAA No more chickens on the farm till spring. We are butchering EVERYONE (chicken)-- even the layers who went on strike--

I am Reading
Hmmm not in the middle of reading anything right now-- in book farm-- lots of internet "research though"

I am Praying
For direction and peace in a new matter....

A Few Plans for the Week
Meeting with midwives, chicken butchering, and Thanksgiving meal with our church family on Sunday.

Oh my these letters have been SOOOOO  encouraging to me like NOTHING else. She inspired me to spend my morning with the Lord, waiting on Him, listening to Him. She inspired me to love my husband and put him right after the Lord She inspired me to raise and love and train my children in many areas And lastly she even touched on keeping my home, to bring honor to the Lord. Immigrant 1880-1914 food budget

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. As you enter, you'll choose a card with a photo of one of eight immigrant characters, who are fictional composites based on historical facts. You then experience the daily life of that character as you tour the museum. Day Book

The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them. Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016 Picture for the week........                                                The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday-- ( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  ) Outside my window..... Things are green, and showers today have made my garden very happy I am thinking..... About starting in with some school for the kids next week. About dipping our feet in with some potty training.
