This sick bay....

We woke up to 3 runny noses-- but thinking all would be okay for church...just maybe not stay for the meal afterwards....

So I made our rice pudding and gf chocolate cake and we had breakfast-- and got dressed-- I noticed the noses were getting worse-- and there were some MESSSSSY sneezes going on.....


Then Stephen-- asked if he could please get his coat on now--- I asked why-- he said "he was soooo cold"-- and he looked BAD---- then looking at Rebekah and Nathan we decided the 3 littles were NOT really ready for church-- we better stay put--- so we did....
Stephen did not move from this couch till around noon-- and then it was to sit on my lap and sleep till 2:30pm-- it was nice cuddling with him again-- its been too long----
Rebekah drinking her tea like she used to drink a baby bottle-- just LOVING it-- she LOVESSSSS HOT TEA!!

Nathan-- hasn't been down and out -- he trys to keep moving-- but his eyes and nose speak otherwise....


Stephen this evening-- still couch bound.... with his hot tea....



Joshua-- just hanging out-- we watched Mike Rowe's Dirty Job-- from Netflix on TV today-- the boys loved it--



Zachary hanging out watching Dirty Jobs too...


Of course we have our cold kicker and Elderberry and GOOT out and being dispensed regularly....so we are hoping all will be better VERY soon.

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them. Daybook for the week of June 12, 2016 Picture for the week........                                                The birthday boy -  He turned 12 on Saturday-- ( this picture is from Thanksgiving though, I haven't down loaded my phone pictures yet though.  ) Outside my window.....
