In the Kitchen- yes my kitchen this time
I just have to share this great blog article from Passionate Homemaking on making YOGURT-- THICK!! VERY THICK. I have fought and fought against heating up my raw milk that way-- but the people I know IRL that have THICK yogurt DO heat it up... they say that is because your raw milk fights against the bacteria/living things in your yogurt starter and it never gets to be really thick-- and if you kill what is in your Raw milk-- it helps the yogurt bacteria/living things to REALLY GROW and form WONDERFUL yogurt..... so..... I guess that is the key....
The second thing going on in my kitchen right now is I am preparing to go on GAPS July1st. I want to have my kitchen STOCKED and READY... so I am not in the middle of week 1 and 2 and tired and run down and needing things to be made... this article from Keeper of the Home IS PERFECT in helping me to be ready... How to Prepare for Going on GAPS diet. I MAY go ahead and buy this E-book from Healthhomehappy.com- on WHAT CAN I EAT NOW? for the Intro to the GAPS diet... we'll have to see....
