ahhhh GAPS made easy.....

I was going to post the other day how very bored we were getting on the GAPS diet... my family (and I) were getting a bit stir crazy....and having LITTLE cheats way to often. (most popular cheat... chicken nuggets / fried chicken-- because they are FAST and READY)

Well today I was to go grocery shopping but could NOT think of a single thing to make.... besides soup-- and well my family is REALLY souped out and EGGS for breakfast is getting a bit of a grumble too....

My soulution? For the next month atleast... Cara at Health, Home and Happiness MENU PLAN for GAPS!!

I am printing my first week out-- and it looks VERY nice.. even make ahead tips (start sprouting lentils, etc)...

I feel so much relief from this-- because it really isn't like we could just QUIT GAPS anyway!!!

How do I know that?!? Because yesterday I was in a pinch and fed my kids some granola I had made before GAPS-- with some goat yogurt-- the outcome!? TERRIBLE. Poor Stephen took the brunt of this one.. (and I'm assuming its the oats, because he has had goat yogurt smoothies before and had no problems). :( I do like this diet-- and I do think we will be different HEALTHIER people in the end-- but I do also feel VERY trapped-- you CANNOT just quit and go back to foods-- you really really have to do it SOOOO SLOWLY!!!
