Yes this year we are trying our hand at Cod Liver Oil... right now just 3x a week.
We are taking the Green Pastures- Fermented Cod Liver Oil. Ours is NOT flavored right now...maybe next time.

We had cod liver in our house before-- when Rachel was so tiny and small and unhealthy (due to her unkown milk allergy) we put it in her bottles of Goat Milk Formula-- and I *KNOW* it made a huge difference in her recovery-- it was amazing!!! I was always amazed that she drank the stuff-- because I didn't know any better and just squirted it in her bottle-- and whewww it stunk!! But it was like liquid GOLD for her body!!
So SHOULD Babies Get Cod Liver Oil?

So we went on a mini field trip this weekend to the Johnstown Flood Museum and then to the Heritage Center -- "Through Immigrant Eyes, tells a national story in a local context. It captures the imaginations of visitors through its innovative use of interactive media. Rather than simply looking at artifacts, you'll actually experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of immigrants' daily lives, and come away with a more complete understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of these Americans in the making. The best way to get back in (for me) is a Day Book. I'm not sure if they even still have a "Simple Woman's Day Book" or not, but I always enjoyed them.
