Gaps Day 4- Busy kitchen day....

Okay-- so life has been a bit crazy-- and i have spent a bit too much time in the kitchen-- but this season will slow down soon....

Rachel is super fussy lately, not sure why-- but this is how I keep her "happy"-- (she is sleeping in this picture actually-- which is why the 'hood' is up).

Today just for fun-- I made butter!! yes I went and bought a gallon of RICH YELLOW MILK (cow) because our goats are REALLY slowing down and I wanted to try to make yogurt out of it-- if we can tolerate it--

**if after GAPS we can tolerate cow milk-- oh my we will HOPEFULLY be getting a cow-- playing and making things with cows milk is SOOOO much fun!!** HOPING

So I made it here in my food proecssor- I used this recipe lightly-- I did NOT culture my butter-- but I would like to-- but I was too rushed-- and didn't want to wait a few days-- I wanted to get it done today-- if I do this again-- I will follow this recipe closer- Cultured Butter.

Here is the finished product.... w/ the buttermilk for later.
(I only had a quart of cream to tart with)
